Last Week’s Hangovers

• Not necessarily a hangover, but certainly the ongoing focus of attention for now is the Battle Pass and unlocking Laviscus.

Saturday 10th January 2026

• Ranked Maugan Ra to Silver 3, just the one more step for him as the target was Gold 1.
• Got Rotbone to Gold 1 too, that’s target for him and another one ticked off the list for the Lucius Plan.

Sunday 11th January 2026

• Today marked the start of Baldr’s Hero Event, Saga of the Wolfkin. Going to try and unlock him at as high a level as possible as, whilst no for right now, another Healer is unlikely to be a bad thing for future Legendary Hero events.

Monday 12th January 2026

• Ranked Marshal Dreir to Gold 1 – another target hit!

Tuesday 13th January 2026

• Ranked Isabella to Silver 3 and Haarken to Silver 3 which also allowed me to reach Power Level 49.

Wednesday 14th January 2026

• Got the last Legendary Orbs needed to promote Calgar to Blue Star Legendary rank and open up access to the Rogue Trader.
• Also got Mataneo to Silver 2 and Tyrith to Silver 1 which is as far as was planned for both of those for now.

Thursday 15th January 2026

• Unlocked Baldr, but as before, no plan on doing anything with him yet, whatever the plan looks like post-Lucius, there’s a chance it’ll include getting him to a decent rank though.

Friday 16th January 2026

• A pretty decent 10-drop here to offset some of the more recent disappointing ones. The shards for Arjac were enough to unlock him too which is cool. A bit late for the Lucius Plan, otherwise he’d be in there as Arjac seems pretty decent on the surface of things!

Highs

• Getting closer to Laviscus and closer on a lot of the goals for the Lucius Plan, feels like when there’s a character to rank up now that it’s a pretty crucial step on the plan. Also, starting to think what the plan will look like post Perfection Personified which is quite exciting!

Lows

• I can’t even complain about a disappointing 10-drop this week! No lows – just getting impatient to have Laviscus unlocked but plenty of distance still to go with the Battle Pass!

Learning

• If you’ve read my Ode to FoC40, you’ll know that I like to have some missions on standby for achieving kills. The Baldr event needed 100 Necron kills so step-up Indomitus 59 – “Scarabs Gone Wild”

Upgrade Item of the Week

This week’s Upgrade Item is a: Lavish Helmet Plume

Lots of pre-farming for Lucius and Laviscus going on at the moment so definitely seeing Emperor’s Children Upgrade Items in my sleep. Nowt like a good Helmet Plume though!
