Last Week’s Hangovers

• We are into the final furlong of the Battle Pass, time to get Laviscus unlocked!

Saturday 17th January 2026

• Today saw Calgar ranked-up to Silver 1 – Calgar wasn’t going to be included in The Lucius Plan originally but seemed rude not to once I ascended him to Blue Star Legendary status. No intentions of taking him any further than this for now – he’s just making up the numbers in my Bolter team in reality but he’s a preferable choice there to Certus I think.

Sunday 18th January 2026

• A couple of goals done today! Tanksmasha and Xybia to Silver 1. They’re both making up the numbers in various teams so there are stronger characters to carry them along. Xybia in particular may be a candidate to take further for a future event and/or for the third Perfection Personified event.

Monday 19th January 2026

• A good week for ticking off these goals – Vindicta to Silver 1. Another one for making up a team but probably one of the stronger ones considering the format of these Legendary events.

Tuesday 20th January 2026

• One of the bigger goals ticked off today and in the same team as Vindicta from yesterday, this time it’s Maugan Ra to Gold 1!

Wednesday 21st January 2026

• Another day, another goal! Haarken to Gold 1!

Thursday 22nd January 2026

• Exciting times! Laviscus unlocked and thanks to all the pre-farming straight up to Gold 1 – I have to say, early impressions are, I love him! He’s so good for Raids in particular but he also has some value in punching above his weight in Arena / Tournament Arena too. Not that it would matter too much, as an Emperor’s Children fan he’s going to be in my teams for all modes more often than not!

Friday 23rd January 2026

• Phenomenally productive week – Isabella to Gold 1 is another target hit!

Highs

• Laviscus! So many goals hit! What a week on Tacticus. Throw in Tournament Arena (a little more on this below) and it’s just been such a great week! A week on Sunday for Perfection Personified and hopefully having the whole team together all day every day!

Lows

• Lows – none at all this week!

Learning

• I think it’s all about Tournament Arena on the learning front this week. This was the first time the whole gang have been able to be selected together in this game mode so getting to use Shiron, Laviscus, Lucius, Adamatar and Hascule together has been a real treat! It’s also been interesting getting a feel for how to use them effectively and what sorts of match-ups are more favourable or more difficult for them. I want to come back to this topic with a full blog post in the not-too-distant future around how I’m finding I can get the best use out of them (no claims at even being particularly good at this game mode but getting to a place where I feel like I’m starting to understand some basic tactics for using them individually and as a team.
