My Tacticus Diary is a weekly feature, reflecting on what I’ve been doing in Tacticus, achievements met and a few other bits and bobs that might have popped up! This is not the first Tacticus Diary and it will not be the last, you can find the others here.

Opening Shot
- Been a busy week and had an Age of Sigmar Teams tournament that took up the weekend and a chunk of time in preparation too, so it’s been a bit more of a playing in the background sort of week when it comes to Tacticus – thankfully I had a good few Raid tickets so not felt any adverse effects from switching to a more passive level of play this week. However, I did very much get involved in Tournament Arena – more on that later on!
Monday 23rd February 2026
- A couple of characters ranked-up today – firstly Sibyll to Bronze 3 as part of the building on the Astra Militarum characters strategy (both for Legendary Events and to be able farm Abaddon shards from the Elite campaign). We also got Wrask to Iron 3 – he’s a character I’ve wanted to do some more work on for a while as he seems like he’d be useful but he’s always taken a backseat so it’ll be nice to get him to a decent level!

Tuesday 24th February 2026
- Nicodemus ranked-up to Iron 3 today. Going to try and power through the next few ranks with him so a chance his name gets repeated on here!

Wednesday 25th February 2026
- As promised, a little more work on Nicodemus as he goes to Iron 3 and some more on Sibyll to as we get her to Silver 1 and probably as far as I’ll be taking her for now.

Thursday 26th February 2026
- More Nicodemus, this time to Bronze 1 and more still to come!

Friday 27th February 2026
- The other characters are interesting, but the best days are still the ones that are about the Emperor’s Children and today saw Lucius reach Diamond 2, catching him up with the rest of his battle-brothers! Now to get them all to Diamond 3!

Saturday 28th February 2026
- Were you missing Nicodemus? Good because he’s back once more this week, Bronze 2 today!

Sunday 1st March 2026
- My daughter’s favourite character in Tacticus is Snappawrecka, so she’ll be glad that I did some work today to get him up to Bronze 1 and start catching back up to the other Orks who are all at least Silver 1 now.

Reflections
- Faction War Tournament Arena – my favourite! Felt good using all my own Emperor’s Children for the first time (had to borrow Lucius the last time round). I think the Emperor’s Children feel like they’re in a pretty good place. Takes some hard work and a little luck to win in some of the tougher match-ups but not come up against any other factions that I’ve failed to win against even if those wins are harder to come by against some! Had a lot of fun rattling through the games to unlock all the crates – in a less busy week outside of Tacticus I might have been tempted to use up all my remaining tokens to work my way up the leader-board but I sadly had to let all the extra tokens go to waste this month once I’d gotten the energy for raids from them!

Future Plans
- The current plan is built around filling in some gaps in the roster that will help with Legendary Character Events, you can see the full cast of characters that we’re looking to build up below:

Upgrade Item of the Week
In honour of Wrask, this week’s Upgrade Item is: Exalted Chainaxe Teeth

It’s not very Emperor’s Children, but I’ll always have a soft spot for the World Eaters!
See you on 9th March for the diary covering 2nd to 8th March.
I’m currently using the Tacticus Planner and the Tacticus Codex to help with my event planning and my Raiding plan – you can see a bit more about them in my Getting Started with Tacticus post.
