Warhammer 40,000 Tacticus Diary: A Week in Tacticus 2nd March – 8th March

My Tacticus Diary is a weekly feature, reflecting on what I’ve been doing in Tacticus, achievements met and a few other bits and bobs that might have popped up! This is not the first Tacticus Diary and it will not be the last, you can find the others here.

Opening Shot

  • Lots of Tacticus Raiding this week but quite a narrow focus as to who the upgrades went to with a definite World Eaters leaning it would seem! Otherwise, been interesting as the Uthar The Destined event – The Ancestors are Watching so I’ll do a quick run-down of who’s making up the teams I’m using for that so far.

Monday 2nd March 2026

  • Starting the week as I mean to go on with Wrask at Bronze 1, will hopefully get him to Silver 1 this week as that’s the main goal for him for now.

Tuesday 3rd March 2026

  • Little bit of Necron love with Aleph–Null being ranked up to Gold 2 now. Such a key player for the Legendary Events I’ll need to take that further at some point but allows me to push a little further on some of the existing ones once Re’vas catches up too!

Wednesday 4th March 2026

  • Back to Wrask again, this time to Bronze 2 – more to come!

Thursday 5th March 2026

  • Wraks to Bronze 3, nearly there!

Friday 6th March 2026

  • Managed to get a few up today, on the World Eaters front, Macer ranked-up to Bronze 1. Alongside that, Roswitha to Bronze 1 and Maladus to Silver 2 in a bumper day!

Saturday 7th March 2026

  • There’s been a lot of Wrask, if that’s been a problem for you, you can rest assured that this is the last time for a while he’ll be in the Raiding Recap as he’s now at Silver 1 and that was the target for this batch of upgrades!

Sunday 8th March 2026

  • Apparently Sundays are Snappawrecka days, this week, he’s up to Bronze 2!

Reflections

  • As mentioned, Sunday also saw the start of the The Ancients are Watching event and I thought I’d give a quick run-down of the teams I’m using in case it’s useful in your own plans for this run or for the 2nd and 3rd when they come round!

Upgrade Item of the Week

In honour of Wrask and Macer, this week’s Upgrade Item is the: Mark of Khorne

Two weeks running of Khorne upgrades, I’ll have to pick something a bit more Slaaneshi next week to offset this!

See you on 16th March for the diary covering 9th to 15th March.

I’m currently using the Tacticus Planner and the Tacticus Codex to help with my event planning and my Raiding plan – you can see a bit more about them in my Getting Started with Tacticus post.
