My Tacticus Diary is a weekly feature, reflecting on what I’ve been doing in Tacticus, achievements met and a few other bits and bobs that might have popped up! This is not the first Tacticus Diary and it will not be the last, you can find the others here.

Opening Shot

• Slowly but surely, the next Legendary Character event creeps up and it’s Dante who I’d really like to unlock if I can. Interestingly and perhaps of some concern, the estimate on the Tacticus Codex for the Dante event still has me a little short of unlocking him, so, we launch ourselves with abandon into getting characters ready for this!

Headlines

• Quite a quiet one this last week on the headlines front. One I will mention though is that I’m creeping ever closer to unlocking the Warmaster himself. He’s not on any of the plans below yet as that felt like it would be bad luck to include him when I haven’t unlocked him but this week I reached 471/500 shards for unlocking him. Can I manage it before the Dante event? He’d be a definite help to a couple of the teams if I could, especially if one were pre-farming upgrade materials for him…

• Actually promoted more characters this week than in the two weeks prior which feels pretty impressive. There are also quite a few where we’ve hit the goal for that particular character so it definitely feels like we’re at the business end of this stage of the plan. Of particular note is Lucius reaching Diamond 3 to pull all of the Emperor’s Children at that level now. The plan will pivot to getting them to Adamantine next but not until I’ve gotten the rest of those mentioned below to their targets also!

If I were the sort to be pre-farming for unlocking Abaddon, I’d imagine this week’s Upgrade Item would be something like the: Icon of the Black Legion
